The Number and Duty of Akhyar

I have heard from my father, may Allah Taala bless him with His Mercy and Love, that the number of Akhyar is from 500 to 700, and that their duty is to divide and distribute the blessings of Allah Taala to His people. They are mostly travelers or tourists, and they do not stay at one place. They go on roaming from this corner of the earth to that, and they are always in journey.

Hz. Ghouth-e-Azam, Shaykh Abd-ul-Qadir Jilani r.a. says that the man of Allah Taala is inflicted with some pain or trial, and in the first stage he tries to remove that pain or trial with his own plans and struggles. In the second stage, when he does not succeed to remove it with his own plans and struggles, he consults the nears and dear ones, he asks for help to the men of power, he goes to the people of links and posts, but finds nothing and no one helpful.
