I have read in the book of my father, may Allah Taala bless him with Mercy and Love, that in the spiritual hierarchy of Islam, there are people who are four in number, and who are called A'amaad (pillars).
My father, may Allah Taala bless him with Mercy and Love, further says that these A'amaad are appointed in the four directions of earth, and that their duty is to protect the people of the earth from the calamities and havocs of heaven.
My father, may Allah Taala bless him with Mercy and Love, says that the name of A'amaad is always Muhammad.
Allahumma Salli ala Muhammadin wa ala Aali Muhammad...
