From Futuh-ul-Ghayb: an Excerpt,

Hz. Ghouth-e-Azam, Shaykh Abd-ul-Qadir Jilani r.a. says that a person who believes in the Tauheed of Allah Taala, feels that every thing is in Allah's control, and He is the one Who is the source of honor and disgrace, sadness and happiness, richness and poverty. He feels that he has no power to do any thing, and that he simply to surrender his will to Allah Taala.
