I have read in the book of my father, may Allah Taala put His mercy on him, that a person should offer his Ishaa prayer, and then without involving in talks with any one, should go to his bed, and recite one thousand times these names of Allah Taala:

I have read in the book of my father, may Allah Taala bless him with His mercy and love, that in the Qadri way to request to choose better for you, or Istakhara, a person has to offer his Ishaa prayer, and then offer two complimentary Rakaats of Nafl, with Soora Fatiha once and Soora Ikhlas eleven times in each Rakaat, and then after Salaam, send eleven times the following Durood on the Prophet s.a.w.

Regarding its effectiveness the following practice shows miraculous results.

If some one is buried under debts, if some one is encircled by calamities, if some one is under the spell of magic, if some one is caught in the shortage of Rizq, the following practice proves greatly effective. Plus, one can perform it to get safe from ones enemies, to get the inner and outer knowledge, to get purity and austerity, to get Tawakkul on Allah Taala, and to get rid of the trials of heavens and earth.

I have read in the book of my father, may Allah Taala bless him with Mercy, that if some one is in love with Hz. Ghouth Paak r.a. and wants to have a look of him, he should get up in the middle of night from his sleep, take Wuzu, and offer, bare headed, two Rakaat Nafl prayer, with Faatiha one time, and Kaafiroon three times, in the first Rakaat, and Faatiha one time, and Akhlaas three times, in the second Rakaat.
